Happy girls

I had to put some good with the bad so here are some pictures of the girls playing and being silly.

Pulling silly faces (Hannah is trying anyways)

WARNING HORRIBLY SAD

Haley lost her best friend (her pacifier) a few days ago. Well, we have been wanting to take it away but didn't want her to revert in the potty training area so we didn't do it and one day she was just not minding and being really mean to Hannah so we sent her to her room a million times that day. Nothing seemed to work to get her to behave and so finally we took her over to the trash can and cut the nipple off of her pacifier. After that we told her to be nice and to listen. John said that the look on her face after he cut it was heart wrenching. We cuddled with her the rest of the night as she cried for losing her pacifier forever. She went to bed alright that night mostly just cried herself to sleep but the next day she asked for it once and quickly remembered what happened the night before and a few times she told us that her awesome grandpa was going to buy her another one (we quickly assured her that wasn't going to happen maybe he will send her a blanket or a toy) and she hasn't mentioned it since.

The deed is done!

Haley is fully potty trained (during the day)! She is totally amazing. Once she finally did #2 on the toilet (it scared her a little bit) she said "that is was easy like mommy and daddy" and she does it everyday sometimes twice. She is not totally ready for night time freedom but we are going to go buy a bed cover asap and see how she does. Anyways, we told her that we would go get her a new toy when she learned how to go #2 on the potty and this is what we got for her. A new princess dress and new shoes. Great job Haley you are sweet and adorable.

Grandma and Grandpa Came

Grandma and Grandpa Hekking came to see us this weekend and the girls had a blast. They got to ride on a snoopy fire truck (one of those 50 cent rides in front of the BX), play at the play place in McDonalds, the play area in the mall, go on a merry go round in the mall, see some puppies, go to great grandma and grandpa Hekking's house and play with stickers, pick flowers and play soccer. They had so much fun with their grandparents but they are asking for them to come over and play with them again tomorrow. We were having so much fun I forgot to take my camera out and actually take some pictures sorry. Hopefully the whole Hekking family gets together again soon and before Christmas because the kids sure do love it. Maybe for Halloween in Vegas or something fun like that.

Wildlife Zoo

We went to the wildlife zoo on Labor day. I know way behind but here are the pictures FINALLY.
Daddy and Hannah looking at the White tiger

Mommy and Haley looking at the Lions

Haley loved the HUGE turtle

There were monkeys everywhere. They had rides and just put the monkeys in the middle and in the middle of the ponds just any and everywhere.

Black swan

Kangaroo

Haley and John got to geed the giraffe and of coarse Haley loved it.

This poor hawk was strapped down to this tree right over a tank of fish I think it was torturing the poor bird

Haley got to touch some starfish

Daddy and Haley looking at caacercaacils (that's how Haley says it)

Daddy's girls (can you tell how hot it was we had bee inside for a good 20 minutes and Haley is still sweating)

This penguin was king of the mountain

Snake necked turtles

Seahorse

Puffer fish

Hannah slept all the way home.

On the way home Haley kept saying "Mommy we are done no more pictures. There are no more animals"

Gamer

Haley is a video gamer now. One morning while I was showering she just picked up my DS and started to play and she loves it anytime I am in the shower or doing something in my room that is where she goes straight to the DS.
