This morning I was online paying some bill (yeah) and Haley came over to me and said lets go! I was a little cofused until I looked down and she put her pants on and wanted me to get her dressed so that she could go outside to play. She did put her pants on right the only problem was that she didn't take her other pants off! What a smart little girl! I love her!
My friend Andrea started a really awesome tag so I am going to continue it because I like it! You write about the first time you met your spouse and how it led up to the marriage. Here is our story!
John and I met at singles ward FHE (I looked horrible I was wearing a huge sweat shirt that went half way down my thighs and jeans) he was the new guy that didn't know anyone. So I called Andy O (a good friend and the ward clerk) to get his name and number. When I called him he had no idea who I was but was willing to come hang out with the gang (we got to know each other very well during this time riding to places together and asking a lot of questions about each other and getting the skeletons out of the closet right away). After doing the "safe" dating with lots of friends he asked me out on a one on one date. He took me to the melting pot for the most romantic date I have ever had! We fell in love fast (he is the only guy that made me so nervous I couldn't even tell him that I loved him when I wanted to) So he told me that he loved me on our second date and I was totally shocked but had been wanting to for like two weeks (so later during our date I finally got the guts up to say it to him)! About 10 months later we got engaged and 3 months after that we got married in the St. Louis temple for all time and eternity! What a wonderful world! I love you John!

Right before we left Haley got to ride a choo choo twice and had a blast!
The first Happy meal that Haley has just gotten to feed to herself! Fun stuff! She loved it (of course what kid doesn't).
We bought Haley a Mrs. Potatoe Head and a alphabet puzzle this week and she loves both. As you can see she is doing very well with the potatoe head. She knows where everything goes for the most part!
Haley is doing very well in her big girl bed! She slept through the whole night last night and didn't wake up this morning until 9:30. She won't even take naps in her crib anymore because she wants to sleep in her own bed! Now I just have to decorate her new room!
We started putting Haley in her big girl bed last night. We have tried before but there was no success so we took some time off and talked to friends and family to see what they did with their kids. We came to our solution and it was to let her play until she crashed! She went from one thing to another last night and she fell asleep at about 10:45. That is way better then the previous tries (we had been up until midnight all three tries).
It has been hot here (101 to 105 we have a heat advisory out. I know that is not so hot to some of you but it is to us)so we went and bought Haley a pool on Sat. and she loves it we have to drag her inside when we are getting over heated. She has a routine she sits down on the step then goes down the slide but she won't just sit in the pool. 
Grandma and grandpa McCurdy came down this past week for Harrison's baptism and the got to come up to Virginia to see the Hekking clan. We had a bunch of fun but of course we kept forgetting the camera so these are the only pictures that we got. They are some cute pictures of her dancing with grandma and grandpa. We were coloring out front before this picture with side walk chalk and I decided to squirt Haley that is why she is wet. We also went to Williamsburg and walked around (Haley finally decided she could handle petting the horses). Yorktown and walked on the beach. We had plenty of fun filled days!
Haley has been trying to dress herself for awhile but hasn't figured the holes out yet but she puts her arms in and steps into her pants and finally she got the shoes on the right feet so all we have to do it buckle them up. Maybe the clothes will be shortly behind!
