Happy Birthday John (yesterday)

We love John. He is a great man and a wonderful husband and daddy. So we tried to let him have a great day for his birthday. We went to the mall in the morning and walked around (unsuccessfully tried to talk daddy into buying another puppy) came home for nap time and went back out to get everything we needed for dinner. When we got home Haley wanted to play with daddy for his birthday and so this is what they did! Jumped on Haley's bed and put daddy to sleep!


Cake time. John wanted strawberry shortcake for his birthday cake and so that is what he got. I think that everyone enjoyed it.



We love you daddy and we hope that you had a great and relaxing birthday and have many many many more to come. Kiss Kiss!

Haley Jo this week

Princess Haley! Haley has been playing dress up all day everyday and she is so sweet about it. Unfortunately for John, when daddy is home he is the princess and Haley is the prince we have tried to tell her that daddy is a boy and Haley is a girl but she now thinks it is a joke to say that daddy is a princess. What can you do?


She also loves to sing her babies to sleep and she has three songs that she sings. The popcorn song, the sleeping beauty song the I know you one, and twinkle twinkle little star. She is so cute.

Haley wanted her picture taken before bedtime giving the camera a kiss but I miss the pucker up and got open mouth at the end.

Hannah Kaye this week

The other night while we were brushing Haley's hair Hannah was playing with the piggy bank and every time someone said her name she did this. Cute.

Hannah has also learned PLENTY this week! She learned how to climb on the kitchen table chairs. We were looking for her the other night where's Hannah we were looking everywhere and she was here.

and stuck which is what usually happens when she climbs on the chairs.

Until she learned how to climb on the table. Crazy silly girl.

Hannah also learned a new word this week! CHEESE. We were taking Haley's picture and Haley said cheese and Hannah mimicked her. So Hannah's discernible words are (in the order they were said):
1. Dada
2. JaJa- JoJo
3. Mama
4. Pampa -Grandpa and Grandma
5. Cheese

Congrats celebration

We surprised daddy with some balloons and candy for being so amazing and smart and getting promoted. As you can see the girls loved the balloons! YAY John you are the best daddy, husband, and airman in the world and you deserve it more then anyone!

Silly Girl

I had just put all the balls away in that tote on her head so she decided to dump them out and wear it as a hat.

Woot Woot

John is so awesome. He made Staff Sgt. on the first try (which is not very common). He is just so smart. He can do anything. He won't actually put it on until sometime next summer but still normal plus that just means that he rocks. I am so proud of my hunky man. Way to go baby.

Buddy

Both the girls love our dog and cat and they are very good with them as well. What sweethearts! Oh and as you can see Buddy is very good with the girls. He just lays there until he gets a chance to escape.

Saturday fun

Haley got a pool for her birthday and we haven't had a chance to use it so finally we got it out for them. While daddy grilled and mom just the watchful eye.

Crayons

Hannah got some special crayons for her birthday and we FINALLY got to try them out. They both love them and now Haley asks to use the "cool" crayons.


Hannah thought she better try them she kept pulling a nasty face but then she would taste them again. Silly girl.

Quite a Week So Far

Since being back from Idaho we have ALL been very tired. Hannah has not wanted to wait to take her naps until nap time so she has just been falling asleep anywhere. Totally sweet.

Yesterday both the girls were so crabby and didn't know what they wanted they just cried for a while before nap time. I couldn't help myself I thought that it was kinda funny and cute. No sense in getting frustrated about the situation just let them work it out.

Then she figured out she wanted to cuddle and tried to cuddle with Haley who was not feeling it. Haley just wanted to go to sleep.

Okay so I was a sleep last night and just has I was sitting up to nurse Hannah John walked in to go to sleep and we both just busted into laughter. Seriously I almost died from seeing him in his BCG's (the glasses he had to wear at basic training) HILARIOUS!! Seriously I can't even stop laughing now seriously funny. It is my fault though I forgot to put his regular glasses in the suitcase. Oops. At least we got a laugh out of it.

The Wedding

Haley and Hannah didn't want to sit and watch the wedding but they did okay. Haley just wanted John to hold her and Hannah just wanted to run around and play with the rocks.

Happy (LATE) Birthday Hannah

While we were in Idaho for Doug and Dani's wedding Hannah turned one. So we celebrated Haley and Hannah's birthdays while we were there. It is amazing that she is already a year old. I want her to know that she is an amazing part of our lives and we are so happy that she is the second beauty that we have been blest with. Hannah you are amazing and we can't wait to see where your headed in life. We love you and hope for and want the best for you!
