Vulture City

We went to Vulture City on Presidents day. This is not like other "ghost towns" nothing is restored it is all in its original condition.
John and the girls on the second story of a building. Everything is so old.

John telling them to get away from the window it was the second story and there was no glass and a little creepy.

Looking in

Haley was our "navigator"

Haley and dad on the huge motor (John told me what it did but I forget)

Hannah being cute in front of the motor

The girls where having so much fun looking around up there but I was thinking hurry up and take the picture before this things falls apart

This chair is really pretty and it is made out of a dynamite box

High explosives

Bullet holes were in some of the windows that were still intact.

pretty picture

old cars

there were cans left on the shelves look at how old they are

We went in this building and went up the stairs still fully intact and easily usable. The first two pictures where taken from the upstairs rooms of this place.

lizard

A good view of Arizona's dessert

and some of the ghost town.

Haley on her bike

Haley got to ride her bike finally and she loves it! Such a happy and sweet girl!

Hannah played with chalk and her little car while Haley was on her bike (it worked out alright). Hannah kept running into the wall.

Haley's Christmas present (finally opened and put together)

Haley loves her bike she wants to ride it all the time now! She is pretty good at it now too it took a few tries but she can do it!

Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day! Haley and Hannah loved the candy and balloons. They also got a new dress each for church. This is Haley giving Hannah a hug because she loves her sooooo much!

Over Over due

It has been a really long time since I blogged last but it is here. A lot has happened and so here is a short post with a few updates.
We babysat two of our friends kids Kiley who is 2 and Sarah who is just a baby. Hannah just couldn't get enough of Sarah and just sat next to her the whole time she was at our house (she was Sarah's body guard and toy provider). Of course Haley was running wild most of the time with her new friend Kiley and every once in a while came over to check on Sarah to make sure she didn't need to be changed or feed.

We also started something new with Haley. NO naps. Before we changed this she would stay up until sometimes 11:30 in her room just talking, singing or doing whatever to entertain herself. For the first while she had a hard time with not falling asleep right before dinner (which is the picture below). Now that she is use to it she loves her "quite" time in which she gets to read books or watch a movie while Hannah is napping.

Hannah had her first ice cream cone. She has had ice cream but we have always feed it to her. She didn't like it as much as we thought she would. She just wants the ice cream in a bowl and not on a cone.

Hannah got her first haircut

Hannah at 17 months old finally got her first haircut. She wasn't sure what was really going on

but she was very good for the stylist.

Then there is her first ponytail which could have come sooner but the front still hasn't grown in and it looks a little funny to me.
