Off to Grandma Hekking's

So John was voluntold to go to a Marine Corp leadership course. It was here in Phoenix but he was still going to be under a lot of stress so the girls and I packed up Grandma Hekking flew down and we drove to Vegas stayed there a night, then drove to Utah and stayed there for a few nights, then drove to Idaho and stayed there for a week (well that was the plan). So here is our adventures of the last three weeks.
Hoover Dam as usual it was crazy busy.

The new highway they are building so you won't drive over Hoover Dam anymore

Hannah sleeping in Grandma's arms

Hannah got some new shoes (her first pair) while we were in Utah and she did pretty good at learning how to walk in them Haley did horrible. This is Haley thinking what is the big deal she is just wearing shoes.

We went to the Aquarium and the girls had a blast

Huge Octopus

The touchng tank

Running around having fun

A big fake star fish cool

Frogs

What's in there?

A HUGE snake

We shared a bed at grandmas and the girls just looked so precious

We went to a place called the Kangaroo Zoo and it was so much fun. Haley is just a blur like she was the whole time and Hannah is a little unsure.

Hannah going down a slide

Haley going down a slide

I was impressed with Haley she climbed up the slides really well and all but one she did them all by herself.

This is in a church parking lot I wanted to drive up there because it looked so cool I want to go to church on the side of a mountain.

Off to Grandma and Grandpa McCurdy's

After Grandma Hekking helped us drive to Utah we ventured on our own up to Idaho to see Grandma and Grandpa McCurdy. The girls had a blast and we stayed busy the whole time we were there.
Both the girls loved to play with the water fountains

and Haley loved to fill them and water the flowers.

Haley loved holding the dogs especially Teddy because he is so tiny.

We went to a fair and saw Uncle Alan break dance.

Then Haley joined in she did pretty good and had fun with Alan.

Uncle Alan holding Hannah. Sweet.

My parents ward had a spaghetti dinner while we were there and the girls ate a ton.

then some icees and a treat

Haley loved to jump on the trampoline. I love her chubby face in this picture.

Hannah thought playing in the backward was so much fun.

I got a kidney stone on the drive back down to Salt Lake to meet John and his family so I called my parents and they came and got me and took me back to Boise and to the ER the next day I went to a Urologist and John flew into Idaho instead of Utah. Two days after that I had surgery to get my crescent shaped kidney stone removed she said it was really in there and it would not have pasted. Then the next day we were off to Utah yikes good thing for pain meds.

And Back to Grandma Hekking's

This is 2 days after I had surgery to get my kidney stone removed. So I am just there taking pictures sad I wanted to play too maybe next time.
Daddy taking Hannah down the slide. This picture is funny you can't really see it but Hannah is wearing the oh crap face.

Haley loved the big slide outside

Eating Grandmas chocolate cake and loving it

Hannah's first cake yep before her birthday.

Then we drove to Vegas and stayed in a hotel (sorry we missed you Erica) and then back home. So John passed his course and is now a honorary Marine. He rocks!

I made these tutus for the girls for the fourth of July. I love them and the girls seem to as well. Haley was twirling in hers forever.

Hot Tamale

Just watch it is funny. Haley wanted to try daddy's "ketchup".

Yum Yum Yummy

Hannah is now officially feeding herself. I love this stage. Yes they get way more messy but they love it so much.
