Haley's bad day

Haley had a VERY bad day on Tuesday so bad that we ended up taking her to the Urgent Care Center on base. So woke up at 5 in the morning which she normally won't wake up (even if you want her to) before 7. The crying started right away nothing would make her happy, not food, not a diaper change, not a nap (she didn't not sleep until that night),not candy. Finally we started to arch her back and would not let anyone touch her so we took her in to the UCC. The doctor thinks that she was "freaking out" because she had stomach cramps from the antibiotics that she had to take the week before, or she still had the virus from the week before. Anyways I felt horrible for her that whole day and I kept crying because there was nothing I could do to make her happy. This picture is of her falling asleep watching Ratatouille.

Haircut

I got my hair cut today! I know it doesn't look too different but I took about six inches off so it feels different and great.

Sour Face

We had fajitas tonight for dinner and everytime John squeezed lime on his Haley wanted some so he gave her a wedge and as you can see her reaction is really funny and yet she kept going back for more!

Wallet crazy

Haley has always loved playing with John's wallet but we don't let her because she pulls everything out. So we finally pulled one of John's old wallets out and put old blockbuster type cards in it and she will NOT put it down!

Haley's Valentines Day

When we woke up this morning there was snow on the ground (which is weird because it has been in the 80's some days and in the 40's others not really cold enough to snow) and Haley wanted to be the one to let JoJo outside. Then she just had an all around fun day coloring valentines cards and playing. Oh and the hat is her new obsession she has to wear it everywhere!

How sweet

Haley wanted to hold Dakoda. It was really sweet she was hugging her and patting her head then when we got the camera out Haley tried to get away (little stinker).

I miss daddy

Haley is having a hard time this week because John is in Colorado Springs on a business trip. Every afternoon she runs to the front door and says daddy. The only thing that I can do to get her to settle down is give her strawberry milk, put a blanket on her and put a movie in (otherwise she is having a temper tantrum about anything and everything). I feel so bad for her two and a half more days without her daddy!

Haley and Dakoda

We had our friend over for dinner tonight. Haley seems to think that she needs to take care of Dakoda everytime they are around each other! They were having fun tonight with each other. Dakoda was crawling into Haley's back and Haley thought that it was the funniest thing ever!

Writing

Haley has been writing holding the pen with her thumb and pointer finger like a big girl and we have been so shocked. We are not sure when they are suppose to start doing that but she is and it is really fun and exciting. She also started saying her own name today and it is really cute.

Slowly getting better

Haley is slowly getting better and returning to her happy self. She has been really cute with her doodle pro she blacks out the screen and erases it and start over again. This time was just extra cute because she poured all of the toys from her tub and then decided it would be a good seat. I know she is adorable! Being sick can make you dehydrated and it did for a little while with Haley so we started giving her Popsicles a couple times a day just because it couldn't hurt. It really made her very happy can you tell!

Haley's vocabulary

Haley has been sick for the last few weeks so we really haven't taken many pictures of her so we thought we would do a list of what she has been saying. She is now 18 months and this is her vocabulary:

That is what we could think of for her real words but there are a few that she says/ does that we as her parents know what she is saying.

JoJo is eating my snack because I wasn't paying attention to it- Doe Jo Doe DAAAAA Doe Jo
Don't tell ME what to do- Don dew doe doe daaa
That's not what I wanted you to do- AHHHHHHH Doe Doe AHHHHHH
When she is telling someone off (she points at them then says)- Don Doe Dew da do doe

We thought this would be a fun thing to do since we are behind on the updates!

Ultrasound

This is the best I can do for showing you all the ultrasound but here is the first one done at 10 weeks. The baby is great the due date they are going by is Aug. 7th. The head is on the right side the two arms then the body on the left. During the ultrasound the baby was showing off a little and doing a little dancing it was really funny and exciting! My next appt. is in 6 weeks and the appt after that will be my next ultrasound and we will find out the sex! We can't wait!

Evan Jon Haderlie

We would like to welcome John's sisters baby to the world! His name is Evan Jon Haderlie. He was born Friday January 11th, 2008 at 10:52. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. We are a little late on the welcoming but here it is we are so happy to have another little nephew to love.

Bubble bath

Haley has always loved bubbles so tonight we thought we would try a bubble bath and at first she hated it she was crying and kicking her feet trying to get the bubbles off of herself and her letters but after a while she thought is was fun and even tried laying down in the bubbles.

CRAZY HAIR

This is not a very good picture but this is what Haley has been looking like when she wakes from bedtime and nap time and her hair is just untameable.
